BPMS PARENT NEWSLETTER
November 2020
Hello BPMS Parents & Guardians,
It is hard to believe that virtual school has been in session for a month and the fall season already arrived. I hope by now we have been able to assist you and your students with any Google Classroom hurdles. Everyone has been working extremely hard and I applaud our staff, parents/guardians, and most of all our students for their perseverance.
Student materials and agenda books continue to be distributed. If you have not received either, please stop by BPMS anytime between 8:30 and 2:30pm (wearing a mask) to retrieve these materials. If you are not able to come during these hours, contact our Main Office at 410-636-2967. The next set of Chromebooks is expected any day and families still waiting will receive an individual email when it is time for pick-up.
Moving forward this year, instead of random Connect Ed messages, BPMS will share/post a monthly newsletter at The Hive (link below). We will do our best to compile information there but on occasion may need to send a Connect Ed message with information that cannot wait. For questions that may arise in between, The Hive is an excellent place to seek answers.
Finally, I want to sincerely thank YOU, our families, for your patience as we have tried our very best to make this transition as smooth as possible. All the thanks and credit for that transition goes to the AMAZING teachers and support staff we have at Brooklyn Park Middle School. I couldn’t be more proud of what has been accomplished since August 27th.
Stay safe and take care, Bee Families!
Mrs. Shakan
