Homework and Missing Work Information:
It is crucial that homework and reading logs are being completed weekly. All homework is due on Friday mornings. I do not accept late homework unless a child was absent on the Friday that it was due. I take each assignment for a grade. Their reading log is a grade and their reading passage and math practice are two separate grades. These assignments are checked for correctness. As always, if you have any concerns or you feel like your child needs some more practice on a particular subject, I can always send home additional resources.
Missing Work:
Students will have the opportunity to complete all missing work before grades are finalized and report cards go home. I will give them an extra copy of the assignment and a 'Missing Work Report' that has all of their missing work on it. It is THEIR responsibility to complete this work and find time to complete this work. They are always allowed to work on missing or unfinished work during their down time after they have completed our daily assignments. If the missing work is not completed and turned in by October 31st, it will be a ZERO in the grade book.
