Welcome to Parent Teacher Conference Week! Please remember that students will be dismissed at 12:55 PM each day this week. TK and Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 12:45 PM.

If you were unable to schedule a conference or need to change your conference time, please contact us in the office and we will access your teacher's conference schedule and find a time for you.

Sweet Dreams Fundraiser

Wednesday, November 14 is our last day for collection donations for our Sweet Dreams fundraiser. Help children with life threatening illnesses have a comfortable and inviting bedroom setting! Place your donation s in the coin jars in your classrooms.

Student Pick-up

We would like to ask your support in helping us have our students follow and maintain our codes of conduct during drop off and pick up times. Please remind your student to not walk on the grass and plant beds, as well as to refrain from walking on our River of Kindness rock river. Please stand to either side of the administration doors so that they are not blocked. Please do not wait at the picnic benches between room 2 and room 4 as we have our bus riders gathering there to wait for the bus. Thank you for your cooperation and support in this matter.

Paradise Fire Relief

Parker Whitney Elementary School will be conducting a donation drive to help those affected by the fires in Paradise, Chico and the surrounding areas. While there are so many who need our help, we would like to focus on helping children. We will be collecting the following items:

New coats, sweatshirts, socks, underwear (various sizes of all)

Target/Walmart gift cards (most preferred donation method)

You may drop these items off in the school office from Tuesday-Thursday of this coming week. Please email Debbie VanLiew at if you have any questions. Thank you!
