Mission Statement
St. Joseph Catholic School provides students with a safe and prayerful learning environment, enveloped by an intimate community of active and faithful families.
Our Motto: Teaching the Mind...Nourishing the Soul
Theme for the Year - Beauty
From the Principal
This week is National Bible Awareness Week. The students have been enjoying some Bible trivia over announcements in the morning, to bring a special focus to God's Word.
Our H2O for Life Water Walk will occur tomorrow, November 17th! Many cases of water have been donated to the school for this event. Thank you to all the families that have made these donations. Once the walk is over, the waters will be donated to area first responders. We hope the students participate in this event with open minds and hearts for others in need, and that they feel a sense of accomplishment for they have truly served as missionary disciples for these communities in Africa.
Please check out a beautiful video below, highlighting this ever important issue of access to clean drinking water for people in poor countries. I hope you will support the students in raising both money and awareness for this cause. The money we raise will go directly towards funding the clean water access for the village of Palabek, Uganda and for Durato Dela Primary School in Ethiopia. We are all called to be missionary disciples, and we at St. Joseph Catholic School, work hard to answer that call. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us in all that we do.
On the behalf of the faculty and staff, I want to wish you all a very blessed Thanksgiving Holiday with your families. We have much to be thankful for in this country, as we share a meal with loved ones. For those less fortunate, let us always keep them in our prayers, and thank you for sharing your food this week with those who have less. You have helped to make a neighbor's Thanksgiving meal possible.
In Christ's Service,
Diane Price
Quotes to Ponder
If the people of the world could only see the beauty of one's soul when it is in the grace of God, all sinners and unbelievers of this world would be instantly converted.
- St. Pio of Pietrelcina (Padre Pio)
What matters is not your outward appearance...but your inward disposition. Cultivate inner beauty, the gentle gracious kind that God delights in.
- St. Peter
At St. Joseph Catholic School, we are striving to become missionary disciples by bringing others to Christ, through the recognition of what is beautiful around us each and every day, and reflecting that beauty in our actions.

car line observations
- For the safety of all, please be aware of your speed as you move through the parking lots.
- Please be patient with friends and extended family members who drop off and pick up students. Many times they have not been informed of the proper way to navigate the car line. We do reach out to families after arrival and dismissal who seem to not understand the car line pattern.
- If you have a friend or extended family member picking up your child, please take a minute to explain the procedures to them. Please reference the diagram. Thank you!
- We would ask that a cell phone not be in your hand while driving in the car line. We all know it only takes one sudden distraction to alter lives forever.
