Rock Hill Review
April 5, 2020
Opening Up
It was another busy week on "The Hill" as we kicked off our virtual tryouts for Cheer and Drill Team. We had a number of people who stepped up and made this a reality for our kids! Mrs. Emily Yeichner, Mrs. Brittany Shaver (Drill Team), Mrs. Kendra Lee (Cheer) and Mrs. Jessica Crutchfield (Cheer) all worked tremendously hard on this and I can't thank them enough. I can honestly say I never thought we would be having virtual tryouts for either of these teams! However, yet again, our Coaches and Teachers stepped up to the plate and overcame another challenge to keep us moving forward!
We have several teams and organizations that have started to gain some momentum in launching their programs, so please be sure to check our Twitter, Facebook page and website for the latest information. It's hard to believe that we are only 4 months (or roughly 130 days) from opening!!! It will definitely be here before we know it and I have no doubt it will be incredible.
We are currently working with our students on some awesome t-shirt designs for our 2020-2021 School Theme: New Kids on the Rock. We also are getting their feedback on what clubs and organizations they wish to be a part of at Rock Hill. Our next step in that process will be to get sponsors for their various requests.
Please make sure to check out the information below regarding sports, as well as upcoming virtual meetings. If you have any questions or need anything at all please do not hesitate to reach out! Stay safe and well!! Go Rock!

Introducing our Rock Hill Administrative Assistants and Student Support Services Team!
Mrs. Nichole Warren - Campus Nurse (New to PISD)
Mrs. Jenna Simmons - Health Clinic Aide
Mrs. Brenda Briley - Campus Librarian (New to PISD)
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, photography, reading, baking, and rooting for the underdog in any sports event (which means that I've naturally fallen into being a Cleveland Browns fan, of sorts).
This will be my 20th year in education, and my 14th year as a librarian. I look forward to serving the Rock Hill High School staff and students, and I hope to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels like they belong.
Mrs. Rhonda Ray - Campus Library Aide
Mrs. Jennifer Fincher - ESL Teacher Specialist
I have lived in North Texas all my life. I grew up in Carrollton, lived in McKinney, and moved to Prosper over 4 years ago. After college, I worked as a Marketing Director where I met my husband, Kevin. We have been married for 11 years and have three beautiful children. All three currently attend Boyer Elementary; Everett is in fourth grade and our twins, Kadon and Kady, are in the third grade. In addition to our three kids, we have two fur-babies, Monty, our 13 year old Maltese, and Evie, our 2 year old Lab mix. They all keep us on our toes.
Mr. Josh Watkins - Instructional Technology Coach

If not on campus, you will also be able to find me year-round on the sidelines of a field or court somewhere cheering on my boys!
August will be here before we know it and I can’t wait for you to see what’s in store for the 2020-2021 school year!
