- The Boston Daily Adversiter predicted that he would become the actor of the century.
Killing Abraham Lincoln
- Booth walked into Ford Theater in Washington DC and shot Abraham Lincoln
- Booth jumped onto the stage, broke his leg and ran away
- He met a man named David E.Harold
- They ran to a house, where Dr.Mudd lived. Dr Mudd fixed Booth's leg
- They stayed at the Potomic river for a few days
- They got caught in a barn they were staying in owned by Richard H. Garret early in the morning
- It is unknown if Booth got shot or shot himself
Fun Facts
- After Booth was shot, a myth spread around that he survived and was seen in London, India, and Paris.
- Booth was buried in an unmarked grave in the Booth family plot in a Baltimore cemetery.
- Booth's original plan was to kidnap the President but Abraham Lincoln never showed up at Booth's location.
