The eye has 3 layers. Retinoblastoma is a tumour in the lowermost layer. It could either develop in one or both eyes, however its most likely that it will only show up in one eye

Retinoblastoma causes a various amount of problems, including but not limited to:

-Problems seeing

-red, painful, irritated eyes

-inflamed tissue around the eye

-different coloured eyes

Inheritance pattern

40% of people infected with retinoblastoma inherited it from their parents. It usually comes from an altered gene

Because its a tumour, chemotherapy would work. Radiation therapy only when necessary(in serious cases)

These children both have Retinoblastoma. Whether or not they've inherited it is unknown, though they both show symptoms
