Maturity: the ability to adapt to the inevitability changes that happen in life.


Supportive relationships reduce stress.

Re-establish relationship with spouse make or break stage in marriage.

Children move out.

Empty Nest comes into play.

Generativity vs. Stagnation

is a stage you reach when you feel like you want to contribute to the next generation, without loosing morals or changing who you became from the last generation.

Generativity is the want to contribute to the next generation.

Stagnation is wanting to stay to your own beliefs without influence of the generation.

Generation X

followed the baby boomer generation

this generation was born between 1965 to 1979

members of generation X are called the digital generation

Echo Boomers or Millennial Generation

this is the grandchildren or children of generation X

this generation is born between 1980 and 1995
