LINConnect
October 2020
Coding with Scratch
BES/BIS LINC students explored coding using the programming language SCRATCH. The students completed a Google CS First project using the theme "Adventures on the High Seas." After that, the students put their coding skills to work on their own original projects.
Trees
BES/BIS LINC students have been exploring and researching the impact of trees on our daily lives. A few of the students shared photos of trees that they find interesting.
STEMtastic
BMS LINC Elective students dedicated most of the month to the creation of a STEM centered website. The website provides a virtual opportunity for 4th graders that would normally attend STEMania at Weatherford College Wise County. Through this project, LINC students learned important skills such as planning, teamwork, website design, data collection, time management, problem solving, and so much more! Stay tuned for more information about this project in the next few weeks.
More Trees
BMS LINC Elective students have also been researching the impact of trees. Students are currently working on essays and posters to demonstrate what they have learned.
