Transportation Changes?

It is important to notify the school as soon as possible when any changes need to be made to your student’s end of day transportation, whether it be a permanent change or just a one day change. With the shortened hybrid in-person schedule, we ask that you contact the school office @ 503-663-4818 by 2pm with any same day changes (unless an emergency situation arises). If you are wanting your student to change to riding the bus home permanently, please also contact First Student before contacting the school, as the hybrid schedule and protocols require more planning. They can be reached at 503-665-8193. (Be sure to know your student’s cohort day).

*Please remember, that students may not go home with “friends” on other busses. Due to Covid-19, students may only ride their scheduled bus to and from school.

Oregon State Assessment for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders

This year, we will be doing something different for our state testing of 3rd-5th grade students.

Each student in grades 3 -5 will only take one assessment. During a normal school year, 3rd-grade students would have four assessments and 5th grade would have 5 assessments. This year, we obviously have much fewer assessments.

3rd Grade- English Language Arts (ONLY)

4th Grade- Mathematics assessment (ONLY)

5th Grade - Science assessment (ONLY)

We will be asking our eGBSD students to come to the school and take their assessments. Hybrid students will be taking their assessments while they are here. More information will be coming out about this in the coming week or two.

Each test will be one hour long.

If you would prefer to opt your child out of state testing this year, please click on the fillable PDF below and email it to the school office or your child's teacher.

2020-21 School Yearbook

Big picture
We have decided to go ahead and continue with a yearbook for the 2020-21 school year. We want to ensure that we've documented the year, the best that we can. We are asking parents to send in pictures throughout the year of our Eagles, as they participate in online learning. If you have a picture of your little eaglet that you'd like to share, please email it to milliken2@gresham.k12.or.us. We will be reminding everyone as the year goes on. Thanks for helping us ensure we have a yearbook to document this crazy year:)

4th Grade Garden Project

A huge thanks to Troy Guisto and Burns Feedstore for donating the raised garden bed shown below. Our fourth graders have a plan for planting vegetables in the coming weeks. I can't wait to see the transformation of our courtyard into a fun and production veggie garden.
