Internet Find of the Week - December 3, 2012

Google Email Tip

Google recently added a new feature to email that you might have overlooked. In the past, if you wanted to send a Google doc to a colleague, you would have to open Google docs, find the specific doc, then go through the process of sharing the doc. Google has simplified that process exponentially.

Now, you can attach a Google doc to an email without ever having to leave your email. When you begin composing an email, you should see a plus (+) sign at the bottom of the New Message window. Move your cursor over the plus sign and you will see the Google Drive icon. Select that icon and you will be directed to your Google Drive. Once you select the Google doc you want to attach, a share window will open and you can choose exactly how you want to share your document.
