Current Announcements
National Honor Society Interest Meeting: Any 11th or 12th grader interested in applying for NHS membership must attend an interest meeting on 9/17, 9/18, or 9/24 before or after school in S233. Attendance at one of these meetings is required to apply. NHS requirements are a 91.5 overall average and a clean discipline record.
Baseball Tryouts: Baseball tryouts will be next Monday through Wednesday from 4-6 in small groups. Players will need to see Coach Perez and sign up in his classroom. Players must also turn in physicals to Coach Perez. You cannot tryout if you do not turn in a physical.
PSAT/NMSQT:
Attn: 10th and 11th Grade Students
The Preliminary SAT or PSAT/NMSQT will be given at Hazel Green High School on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. This is an optional test that provides practice for the SAT and serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test for 11th grade students. The cost of the test is $20 and is payable by check to HGHS or by cash. My School Fees cannot be used at this time for the test. Pay and sign up in the Guidance Office before September 13. Senior Portraits: The deadline to take your senior portrait for the yearbook is October 17th.

Yearbooks: Yearbooks are currently on sale at MySchoolFees for $60. The price will increase to $65 after October 23rd.
FAFSA Assistance: Are you a parent who needs expert assistance with FAFSA submission? FAFSA assistance for parents will be offered from 8:30-12:30 in the library October 25, November 1, November 22, and December 13. Please RSVP with Mrs. Jagielski.
Letterman Jackets: It's not too late to order a Letterman Jacekt! If you would like to order a jacket or have any other questions about them, please see Coach Barker or email him at jbarker@mcssk12.org.
DECA's Yankee Candle Fundraiser: DECA has started their Yankee Candle Fundraiser, so please see a DECA member to buy a candle or other wonderful Yankee Candle items.

Online Application for Free/Reduced Meals: Online free and reduced meal applications are available at the link below for a faster, more confidential way to apply. A new application must be completed each school year to qualify for free or reduced meals. Your child's eligibility status carries over to the new school year for the first 30 school days, allowing parents time to re-apply. Only one application per household should be submitted, and everyone living in the house must be included on the application.
