Hawk Squawk Newsletter 7/13/23
Principal's Message
Dear Hallinan Families,
Happy Summer! And, welcome to the first newsletter of the 2023-24 school year. While there is still a lot of summer left, I am reaching out to say hello and make sure you are aware of some fun events at Hallinan in the upcoming weeks.
Our amazing PTO and families have organized summer socials by grade level for our students to get to know one another prior to school starting - we hope you and your children will take advantage of these fun get-togethers at the Hallinan Playground:
- Kindergarten - Sunday, 8/13 at 3 pm
- 1st Grade - Sunday 8/6 at 1 pm
- 2nd Grade - Wednesday, 8/2 at 6 pm
- 3rd Grade - Sunday, 8/13 at 1 pm
- 4th Grade - Thursday, 8/3 at 6 pm
- 5th Grade - Tuesday, 8/15 at 3 pm
Small treats may be provided for students in that grade level. If you will have additional children attending that might feel left out, please bring a snack for them.
The PTO is also hosting a Back-to-School Picnic on Saturday, September 9, from 4:30 to 7:30. More on that below, but know that Mr Haynor’s band, Hammerhead, will be playing so you won’t want to miss it!
Stay safe, explore every chance you get and make sure to read every day!
