After-Care Starts on Monday for those who are registered If you would like your child to attend after-care, your child must be previously enrolled. The enrollment information and electronic forms are available at http://okee.k12.fl.us/aftercare?fbclid=IwAR2SLjl05elCwVjJOWUrvEiA7-4lQCLMAS2MCORlpRIMjoNO9K9baT7SAYs | If your child needs to register, register online or call the school If your child has not been enrolled in school yet, please register them via http://okee.k12.fl.us/new-student-registration and wait for someone from the school to contact you. No new enrollment or option changes will be made in our office on Monday in order to prevent mass gatherings of people. | Option Changes Freeze If families decide to change the school option that their child is currently in, we ask that you simply call our office on Tuesday, August 18, inform us of your request, and we will schedule an appointment to discuss the change and the time frame for the change. This is important because our classrooms are set up to house a certain number of students, and our technology resources have been distributed based on the current student information in each school option. We want every child to be welcomed and have a desk ready to go for their arrival. Thank you for your patience. |

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT WALKERS
- Students riding bicycles are considered walkers
- Students who walk from school to their homes or parents' nearby employment are walkers
Students are not walkers if they are walking to the parking lot to be picked up by a parent in their car. These are car riders and car riders must use the car rider pick up line for dismissal. If you do not wish to wait, you can line up around 3:00 or 3:05 PM to avoid a longer wait time in the parent line.
Also, remember that dismissal begins with our Littles first and upper grades come out behind them.
Keep in mind, wait times will be slightly longer on the first few days due to the newness and students learning dismissal procedures. Thank you for your patience. You are the best parents!
No Backpack Recommendation~ Backpacks are not needed so we recommend keeping them at home. If you have aftercare or other needs you can still send one, but most students will have no need for a backpack. More to come on our Homework Plan for this year in building a culture of reading here at CES! | ClassDojo is School Wide at Central Elementary Sign up with information from your teacher. This is how we will be building our school community, recognizing our students behavior, and sharing school wide and classroom information, newsletters, and updates to our parents and families. | Cloud 9 & Character Counts We will continue to support student social emotional learning through building character strengths and initiatives across campus. Our Students of the Week and Students of the Month will be selected from classes based on their demonstration of exemplary character here at Central Elementary. We are excited to do great things this year! |
