OwlFeed has Returned!
School has officially started back up again! Though there are mixed emotions about that, everyone, new or returning, is super excited to get back into the groove of writing stories again! A new class means new people filling positions. I have been so privileged to become OwlFeed's new Editor-In-Chief! We have worked our tails off since the day we came back to school, so we hope you enjoy our stories!

The gender wage gap is grossly exaggerated and misinterpreted to be evidence of gender discrimination when, in reality, it is simply a minor effect of the different choices women make as opposed to men. Equal pay is explicitly stated in law, guaranteeing that people would get paid the same for the work “of which requires equal skill, effort, and responsibility” no matter their gender (Equal Pay Act).

With the opener on September 3rd against Apollo High School, the team has been working on their features with new blocking techniques, defensive drills and lots of conditioning. All of their efforts were put to work as the JV and Varsity team defeated the Apollo Hawks 2-1. They then beat rivals Canyon View on September 9th 2-0.

Meet Jesus Cruz Valdez
Jesus Cruz-Valdez was raised here in Arizona from Goodyear to Phoenix to Avondale and was born on December 7, 2002. As Jesus was growing up he was raised strictly, but for the better, staying off the streets and staying in school. School gave Jesus many forms of entertainment, from being in theatre to creative writing.
