Buses Not Getting Students to School
We may run into some challenges with students who take the bus to school due to a driver shortage and/or driver illness. Krishna has indicated that we are to work with affected students and families to ensure students are kept engaged in learning if they are unable to attend in-person school due to bus cancelations. Families will be asked to contact their teacher directly for missed learning.

Progress Reports
Important Details to Note:
-Progress Report shows general progress in working toward the achievement of curriculum expectations.
-Its focus is on assessment for and as learning.
-Comments are personalized clear precise and should provide meaningful feedback.
-Comments should provide next steps for the student and indicate how families can support at home.
-Every student does not need a different comment relating to strengths and next steps but each comment needs to be appropriate for that student's progress.
-Comments are evidence based (consider conversations/observations/products).
-Ensure there is a comment when a child receives an "N" or a "Progressing With Difficulty" comment.
-Do not include the IEP statement for modified IEP's, but check IEP box if subject is modified
-A comment for all subjects is not required.
-Remember to collaborate and confer with other staff who teach your students.
