2. Analogy Museum
3. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz chapter 21
Students will begin class by putting together their analogy charts. After all charts are assembled, students will have the opportunity to participate in an Analogy Museum and present to their peers. Finally, students will read chapter 21 in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Tuesday 4/12

2. Chapter 21-22: Show What You Know!
3. Book Club Simulation: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Chapters 21 and 22
Students will begin class by showing what they know about chapters 21 and 22 in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. After our show what you know opportunity, students will participate in a book club simulation discussing theme and character development.
Wednesday 4/13
You will need your agenda, vocabulary book, pencil, and binder.
1. Homework:
- Finish quotation journal
- Vocabulary A, Unit 15 assessment on Friday 4/15
2. Review vocabulary unit 15 activities
3. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: Chapters 23 and 24
4. Quotation Journal
We will review the vocabulary unit 15 activities from our workbook. Then, as a class, we will finish reading L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Students will then have the opportunity to reflect on a quotation from the end of the novel.
Thursday 4/14
You will need your agenda, binder, novel, and pencil.
1. Homework:
- Vocabulary A, Unit 15 assessment tomorrow
2. Turn in quotation journal
3. Annotation review
Students will spend class time reviewing their annotations. Students will analyze relevant annotations in order to easily integrate quotations into future writing assignments.
Friday 4/15
You will need your agenda, binder, pencil, and novel.
1. Homework: Shabbat Shalom :)
2. Vocabulary Unit 15 assessment
3. Annotation review
Students will complete their Vocabulary A, Unit 15 assessment at the start of class on Friday. After completing the vocabulary assessment, students will continue to analyze relevant annotations. Students will also have the opportunity to conference with me in order to review their current grade.
