Join us in making a difference in education... Help us make our 8th Annual Riebli Walk-a-Thon a success!

On behalf of John B. Riebli Charter Elementary School, we hope that your company can help us with our 8th Annual Walk-A-Thon. Riebli PTA is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the health, safety, and enrichment of the children at Riebli School in Santa Rosa. Comprised of parents and teachers, Riebli PTA is the main contributor to many programs and events that benefit the educational enrichment of our students.

On September 27, 2019, we will be having our 8th annual Walk-A-Thon to raise funds for the many programs and events we provide for Riebli students. Programs we fund include our Garden Program, P.E./Health, and Fitness enrichment, and Art Docent program. We also provide support to teachers and classrooms with start-up funds, field trip support, and community-building events.

We are seeking donations to support our Walk-A-Thon in two ways:

• Donations of prizes, gift certificates, snacks, and other supplies

• T-shirt Logo Sponsorships

We greatly appreciate any support you are able to give which will in turn benefit our students and teachers.

Thank you for your consideration,

Michelle Gagnebin Riebli PTA Walk-A-Thon

Library news

Greetings,

What a great week! We started Library Sessions. It was so good to see all the returning children, as well as meeting all the Kindergarten children and new children to our campus. It's going to be a great year!

This week we reviewed Library Rules and proper care of our library books. Please help your child at home by making sure there is a safe, dry place for their book. Our main rule is to keep the library book in their backpack when not reading it, allowing it to be available during school and home reading. Make note of your child's Library Day. Encourage them to spend some time reading each day. Having them read aloud to anyone at home is also a great way to help them grow in their reading ability.

We also discussed the habit of "borrowing and returning". Being on time with the return of their book will allow them to check out another book next week.

Thank you for all the support you'll give them at home on this reading adventure.

Happy reading,

Miss Denise
