Princi-Val notes...
(7) Week of September 18 - Sept. 22, 2017
Learning Log meetings this week.
This is our walk-a-thon week. I encourage all of you to go out and walk/jog with your class and make this a fun event. Records for each grade-level can be seen in the gym. Remember we will be collecting $$ for the Hurricane victims in Texas.
Thursday, Sept. 21st: 3:45..2nd Grade Training with Christi Moore.
Friday, Sept. 22nd: SRI/TRC/NWEA TESTING ENDS!
Smart Goals
I've met with only about a handful of people about your smart goals and they are due by October 1st. This gives you two weeks, so please do not wait until Sept. 28 & 29 to get these figured out.
5th grade made a donation of....their time.
A big shout out goes to our 5th-grade team for volunteering to work at the carnival. The thought was to raise $$ however, once the team got there, the events were free. Rather than complaining, they made the most of it. Look, Rissi even learned to look like a flamingo!
Spelling Bee--PLEASE READ
This year we have registered for the WIPB-TV's spelling bee program. One winner from our school will be traveling to Ball State University on March 10, 2018, at 8:30 to compete against the other area winners. The champion will represent the area at the 2017-18 Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. area.
Our Spelling Bee will have to be done prior to 2-9-18. Lists will be provided to you through this program.
This skit is very funny for those of us that are a bit older, but if you aren't, just think about your grandparents or even your parents!
