PrinciPAL letter of the Week
April 1, 2022
Dear NFM@Crawford Families,
Wow, we had a wonderful week of CMAS testing! All of the 3rd grade and upper el students enjoyed some fun music and dancing before their test. Thanks to all of the parents who provided snacks, the students loved them. Next week, we’ll begin the Math portion of the test, then Science the following week for 5th-grade students.
We have 85 wonderful families as a part of our school community. We really value your feedback and have only heard from half of you. If you have not filled out our NFM@C Parent Survey, please do so this weekend. The link is here:
Please be sure to read the letter sent home regarding our next fundraiser! All of our students, staff, and parents are welcome to join the Read-a-Thon. We hope to earn enough money to pay for all of our end-of-the-year transportation costs. Students in each grade level who read the most minutes will win a free scholastic book and a tea party with me. (1 student in age 3-4-year-olds, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th) The top staff member and parent will win a Scholastic book and a gift certificate from Lazy J Coffee.
We’d love your involvement. If you’re interested in helping with our end-of-the-year events, please plan to join our next PTCO (Parent and Teacher Committee ) meeting on April 7th @ 5 pm, in the staff lounge.

Over the coming weeks you are going to get to see what different Montessori quotes mean to our students. First, second and third graders worked in self selected groups. First they chose a Montessori quote then they created a collage reflecting their understanding of the quote.
