Color Alive by Crayola (free & in-app purchases) - These coloring pages will entertain and enchant youngsters as well as the oldsters! You'll love the selfie feature! You can purchase pages within the app or buy the coloring books from Toys R Us or Amazon.

Word Clouds (free) - Create and share word clouds with this easy-to-use app!
TeleStory (free) - Write, direct and star in your own television show. Students pick a theme and one of more than 30 animated scenes and then write their script. Next, they choose from more than 50 digital costumes and record a TV show.
Adobe Slate (free) - Turn your next newsletter, report, invitation or travel adventure into a gorgeous story. Your Slate web story gets its own URL and can be shared via text message, email, posted on social media accounts or embedded on blogs or personal websites.

Quiver (formerly ColAR) website is quivervision.com - The Augmented Reality site has a new coloring page, the Animal Cell. When activated, students can look at the various parts of the cell and take a quiz. Click here to download the coloring page. They recently released coloring pages of the World and a Volcano page.

Landtech esign (free) - Do you ever need to sign documents or forms when you are out of town or not near a fax machine? Using your iPad or iPhone, signing documents with your finger or stylus is very easy.
Chatterpix (free) - Make your photos, friends, pets or drawings talk. Take a photo, draw a line to make a mouth and record your voice and then share with your friends and family. Very creative way for students to introduce themselves.
DisneyNature Explore (free) - Magnificent outdoor animal adventures. Choose either the Brown Bear, Monarch Butterfly, Chimpanzee, African Lion or Loggerhead Sea Turtle for an augmented reality experience.
Plickers (free) - An easy-to-use student response system that needs only one device. Download and print reponse cards at www.plickers.com/cards. Look under iPhone Apps.

Seesaw Class (free) - Set up digital portfolios for the students in your class. Students can share their digital work with their teacher and parents. If your students create with the iPad, you'll love Seesaw!
Paper 53 (free) - Great, free digital journal app! Currently, it's my favorite sketching and sketch-note taking app. Besides all of the great free pen and color features, the scissors that allow you to cut and paste from your notebook make this a favorite.
Kids Countdown Timer (free) - I know, your iPad comes with a free timer. Kids Countdown is a visual timer that plays music and slowly reveals a picture as the time counts down.
EPIC! Unlimited Books for Kids (free) - This is an amazing library of digital books for teachers and students. If you are an educator, make sure to create your free educator account and gain access to many books for free. You'll find many genres and books with audio.
ZooKazam (free) - Observe and learn about a variety of animals by magically bringing them to your classroom with this augmented reality app. Take photos with them and appsmash them to create a report. :)
Telestory (free) - You can never have too many digital storytelling apps. Telestory is a fun app that students can use to create their own tv show, music video, or movie.
