National Planning Meeting (NPM)

KUALA LUMPUR: Last week (10th April to 12th April) was AM NPM. Challengers (EBe 15/16) arrived one day late due to some reasons, but it does not matters as our energy is still very "ohmm"!

We arrived the hotel around 10pm and thank god Eric was there to help us figure out the way to the hotel otherwise we will be wasting quite a lot of time.

Growth mindset briefing. Growth mindset is initiating changes for better future. :)

We are changing everyday to adapt with current reality and sometimes, we are a few steps ahead from reality.


Failing to change with current reality will be eliminated by society. Best example: Nokia. Nokia phone was once my dream phone (unbreakable yet high tech N70) and Nokia did very well in dominating handphone market too. But however the things changed so fast after the reinvention of smartphone initiated by Apple. Nokia lost her dominance and eventually purchased by Microsoft. :(

Our culture is dependent on our value, and the culture is one of the most fundamental asset that an organisation have. Normally a good working culture will directly lead to a better result and better synergy among members.


Thanks Yi Qian for took first and bold step to initiate it. :)

From The Editor

From MyLDS to NPM

Hi! Congratulations and thank you for reading until this part. Just to clarify, this is our special newsletter, which means that monthly newsletter is still on for April! That's why there are no departmental updates included in this newsletter. Back to topic, this is my second national conference after MyLDS. There are a lot of things that changed, including me myself.


So do you notice the changes in you? Try asking people whom work closely with you since the first day. ;)

How were the thing was before MyLDS?

How were the thing changed after MyLDS?

Do you feel the impact until now?


This are three prompting questions that I asked myself after NPM. From what I observe, I realise that after MyLDS, our bonding among members are stronger than ever. Back then we are too departmentalise and there are lack of common understanding and synergy among departments. But now, things changed. We start to work very hard towards our common goal - To deliver 130 experiences.

People Changed.

After MyLDS, almost every members changed to a better version of himself / herself and I believe everyone saw the changes among his / her friends too.


One of the change catalyst behind this is our home group.

I have one, but it is not that active anymore. But I believe we will meet each other in the upcoming MyLDS 2016.

Not all changes are improvement, but without change there can be no improvement.

It is undeniable fact that MyLDS acts as a change agent or magician that change our LC a lot. We are happily to embrace the change but we are expecting another greater change.

We have so many members going for exchange this summer. So, they are going to bring back the good culture and practices to the LC and share it with all of us. From that, we can really see the power of ripple effect now.

We are ready for our future!!!
