A Note from the PTA President
What a dino-mite book fair we had last month! Thank you all that volunteered and thank you for your purchases. Please see Chris Albani’s report on the Book Fair to see how much money we are able to donate to English Landing’s Media Center because of this fundraiser!
If you haven’t had the chance to volunteer with PTA, there are still plenty of opportunities to volunteer with the upcoming Popcorn Fridays, STEMScope Family night, English Landing Variety Show, and Staff Appreciation week. If you’re not able to help with these fun events, please think ahead as we are in the process of forming committees for to serve for the 2019-2020 school year. You can attend our upcoming meeting or contact me to find out more about these openings.
Haven’t made it to a PTA meeting yet? No worries! You have two more chances to join us. Our next meeting is Monday, March 4, 2019 at 6:30 pm in the media center. Our final meeting of the year will be Monday, May 6. 2019 at 10am in the Flex classroom. We’d love to have you join us.
Joining us at the March 4 meeting will be Dr. Jeanette Cowherd, our Park Hill School District Superintendent. Please join us to hear her updates on the happenings in the district. Please note that free childcare will be provided to school-aged children compliments of our district’s A-Plus program.

Book Fair Recap
Many thanks to Mrs. Schneider, Ms. Duffy, our dino ambassadors, our volunteers, and of course all the parents and students who made purchases at our Book Fair in February! We were able to raise over $1700 for the English Landing Media Center and have a great time doing it! Enjoy all those books and plan to come back to our Fair next year.
Thanks again,
Chris Albani
