You will have the following areas of responsibility:

  • Develop marketing materials, fundraising documents, new concepts

  • Continuously research, network & create new leads

  • Build relationships with key clients and prospects and convert them to opportunities

  • Scoping requirements and Budgeting

  • Prepare detailed proposals, fundraising, sponsorship and tender submissions

  • Negotiate & land deals

  • Maintain client and lead records in CRM system

Management and scope

Each month you are to make the following report(s):

  • New Leads & Opportunities

  • Sales Report

  • Scoping documents for landed deals to be handed over to project managers

  • Improvements of our portfolio, sales, branding and marketing strategy and execution


Following your areas of responsibility, you will have the following decision-making authority:

  • Sales & marketing strategy

  • Develop new leads and decide how you will convert them into sales

  • Develop client strategies and plans

  • Co-design product content with senior management

  • Develop and execute marketing plans

  • Decide on pricing and discounts offered

External network relations

Following your areas of responsibility, you will be focusing on the following external relations:

  • Decision makers and influencers in private, public and citizen sector organisations in South East Asia with a main focus on Malaysian market

  • Partner organisations that can open new opportunities for Scope Group as well help increase our capacity and capability

Organizational placement and internal relations

Your day to day management reference is CEO Christoffer Erichsen & Executive Director Dr Shariha Khalid with whom you will prioritize and plan your work.


  1. In the short term your goal is to convert existing opportunities and leads to sales whilst generating and opening new leads and opportunities
  2. In the medium term your goal is to increase sales performance whilst boosting product portfolio, marketing and sales strategy and execution
  3. In the long run your goal is to be promoted to lead the establishment of a dedicated business development team for Scope Group

Professional Development

Your job holds professional development possibilities in the form of increased responsibility in the following areas:

  • Sales & Marketing Strategy

  • Independent Lead & Client Management

  • Independent Concept and Product Development

  • Lead Tender and RFP Submissions

  • Development of Sales Mechanism and Training of new employees
