West Side Story 2.0

Assuring learning excellence and readiness for a changing world.
COVID Update
Please remember that we need to continue to follow the Safe Learning Plan through the end of the school year, and this includes wearing masks in school.
Those students who took advantage of the vaccination clinic at school will receive their second dose at school on May 27th, between 10:00 and 12:00.
Another 1st Dose Vaccination Clinic will take place on June 1st at Prairie Winds and DMMS. High School students are eligible to participate. Please use this link for more information and to register.
Last Week of School
Just as we did with first semester, the last week of school will be a concentrated effort to support students who are failing. All students are welcome to come to school if they would like, but students with passing grades could consider May 28th as their last day of school.
Structure of the last week:
Students who are failing a class, or who want to improve their grade in a class, will attend during that scheduled class period.
Teachers will work with students in need of support during the class period.
Teachers may schedule times to meet with specific students.
While we want kids in school, this is the last opportunity staff will have to provide additional time and support and assist students in earning credit toward graduation. Students who are failing are required to attend school during the last week, and students who would like to improve their grade or simply want to attend school, would have the option to attend school June 1-4. Students who are passing but attending school for the purposes of improving their grade will still need to follow the retake procedures and guidelines for their appropriate courses.
