- Able to get transportation to and from the farm
- Can work outside in various weather conditions (Appointments are canceled in the event of severe weather)
- Comfortable in farm setting and willing to get a little dirty
- Experience with horses a plus, but not required.
- Able to engage with children
- Professional communication skills
- Minimum commitment of 30 – 40 hours

- We will provide necessary training
This is a great opportunity to explore the potential of careers in physical and occupational therapy, education, and equine care and management among others. Miracle League of the Triangle
Looking for a fun, unique, and rewarding way to give back to the community?
Volunteer with the Miracle League of the Triangle this Fall!
The Miracle League creates positive life experiences for children and adults with special needs through America’s favorite pastime - baseball. Community support is vital to our volunteer-driven program. Each season, athletics teams, school clubs, honor/service societies, and more help our exceptional athletes enjoy a fun and rewarding game of baseball. In fact, it is such a great way to give back that many groups make return trips to our ball fields every season. We hope you will join us!
If you submit dates, we will send you an email with your confirmed date and time slot soon!

Your Best Shot Leadership Academy - Volunteers Needed!
At Your Best Shot, we are currently looking for high school volunteers to assist us with our Homework Helpers Program. We provide homework assistance, remediation, study skills development and enrichment for students in grades k-8. We operate Monday through Friday from 3 to 8.
We are less than 15 minutes from Wakefield High School. We are located at the intersection of Harps Mill and Litchford (8320 Litchford Road) in a Food Lion shopping center. Students can volunteer for one day or more depending on their interest and availability. Ideally, we would love to find students who might have an interest in teaching because this will provide an unbelievable opportunity to work directly with students with the guidance of experienced educators but will embrace anyone with interest.
Our website is www.yourbestshotllc.com and students can check out the specifics of our program and our other program offerings. Please Email Phil Moses at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.
