Message from the Principal
Please read this newsletter in its entirety as it has important information.
I want to thank all of our Gator staff and parents for the support and patience. We have had some challenges, yet despite all, we continued the work that had to be done to ensure a safe return to campus.

Ready, Set, Go! - Kindergarten thru 6th Grade
We want our Gator students to feel comfortable and be successful as they return to campus. Parents, we are asking you to please prepare the items below:
- Please label backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles
- Cafeteria Breakfast & Lunches are free
- Please remember a Snack
- All K-1 students should enter campus wearing a name tag (first name, teacher name, and grade). We will help your child/children to their classrooms on the first day.
- Lunch- Please make sure students can open all items that are packed in lunch boxes.
Due to safety - Parents will not be able to walk their student to the classroom. We will help your child get safely to their classrooms.
Water Bottles
Students will have the ability to refill their water bottles if they need more water. We also have water bottles on campus if your student happens to misplace theirs or forgets to bring from home.
Water Donations are Greatly Appreciated

Hours and Procedures
- School Hours: 7:45 - 2:40 Please do not drop off students before the 7:45 a.m. time
- Please do not allow your child to gather at our front gates before they open. Students need to wait in their cars.
- Students will be able to enter the building at 7:45 A.M.
- Students will report directly to the classroom.
- Please wear a mask upon exit of the car, walking up to campus, or arriving on a bike.
- When arriving at the classroom Students will be welcomed at the door by their teacher.
- Students will sanitize their hands upon entering the classroom.
- Students will need to wear masks at recess time.
- Students may eat breakfast in the Cafe before going to class.

Dismissal - West and East Gate - Changes
All Students that live in the neighborhood that will be walking home will have been issued a walker tag.
PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF STUDENTS IN THE MORNING BEFORE THE 7:45 A.M. TIME.
- All students that walk will be given a dismissal tag that is tied to their neighborhood address.
- Students will only be able to enter and exit those gates with the appropriate tag.
- Kindergarten and 1st Grade students are only able to walk if they are walking with an older sibling.
- 2nd Grade thru 6th Grade students are permitted to walk home.
- Parents will have to drive through pick up and drop off if your child doesn't have an East or West Gate tag.
- Out of boundary students, parents will have to come through the pick up and drop off line.
We understand that this may make the line longer, but safety is our goal.
Goodman Cafe' - Breakfast & Lunch

Band and Orchestra is currently happening on campus!
Band and Orchestra Students will NOT be entering through the MPR for Class. They are to meet their instructors at the Gate by the front office.
Mr. Miller will meet all students at the Gate by the front at 7:15 a.m. He will escort students to class and review hand sanitizing and safety protocols for band.

ORCHESTRA
Mrs. Broomfield will meet all students at the Gate by the front office at 6:55 a.m.
She will escort all students to class and review hand sanitizing and safety protocols for Orchestra.

Uniform Donations
At this time, we are unable to accept donations. We have seen many families posting uniform donations on Facebook. Thank you, as this does help many families as children grow out of clothes throughout the school year.
