Safety During Arrival & Dismissal
We would like to remind families to exercise caution during arrival and dismissal times. Please drive slowly in the parking lots and avoid aggressive driving habits such as sharp or quick turns and cutting through the parking lanes. In the main visitor lot, please pull all the way up to where advised by staff so as to allow additional cars behind you access to the drop-off curb. Do not just stop and hold up the flow of traffic as cars in front of you are still moving. If the visitor lot is too full, you are welcome to either temporarily pull off to the side on Delvale Ave and walk to school via the main sidewalk, or you may also use the church visitor lot adjacent to the school as a temporary space to park.
Only buses are allowed in the bus loop between 8:20am and 8:35am. If you are already in the bus loop when the first bell rings at 8:20am, you will be prompted to move immediately. It is critical that both adults and children use the available crossing guards whenever moving between our school and Holabird MS. Avoid any drop-off locations that would involve your child walking across the parking lot in the way of any moving vehicles. Finally, parents and any emergency contacts with pickup privileges must be able to present a photo ID at any moment. If a photo ID cannot be presented, we will be unable to release the student.

ESOL Welcome Center Has Moved
All families new to the county enrolling students in grades 1st – 12th and who primarily speak a language other than English should make an appointment at the ESOL Welcome Center. The office has resumed offering in-person appointments for evaluation of ESOL services. Families will be given a folder during their appointment to keep all the documents presented by the Welcome Center staff and will be asked to take that completed folder back to their zoned school. The ESOL Welcome Center Pupil Personnel Worker will continue to assist all families experiencing homelessness. Families with other residency designations will need to complete any missing documentation with the Pupil Personnel Worker based at their zoned school.
