LIFT Weekly Update
All about the Student Ministry at First Baptist Covington.
I hope you saw some white bracelets last week after LIFT! In our new series called I.D., we're challenging all of our students each week to wear an I.D. bracelet with a statement written on it about how Jesus has identified with us, and how that changes our identity. So, check with your student, and encourage them as they draw attention to their faith! We'll continue with that series this week at LIFT! Plus, starting this Wednesday, sign-ups will be available for this year's Ski Trip! It's coming up Feb. 18-22, and it will cost about $200.
Prayer Breakfast is on for this week, as well as LifeLine. This week for LifeLine, we'll join with the rest of the church for our Missions Fair! Be at the Fellowship Hall at 5:45pm for a great evening of learning about all of our churches missions partners, reaching out into our community and around the globe. Plus, there will be snacks!
Youth Choir is starting back up with some great music and opportunities to lead in worship! Be at the Choir Room Sunday at 5pm to join!
Be sure to check out our SNACK SUPPER SCHEDULE below! We've added a parent-provided meal once a month, and the students LOVE it! Click on the picture below to see when you're up!

Last Week's Message from LIFT!
Because of technical difficulties, we don't have a video this week. Sorry!
· How would you describe what it means for Jesus to live in you?
· What does it mean for Jesus to have identified with us?
· Have you ever felt like Jesus couldn’t possibly understand your situation?
· Is that true?
· How was Jesus rejected?
· How have you been rejected because of your faith?
· How can you respond like Jesus did?
