Mrs. Neese's Class Notes
June 5, 2017
Here is the last Class Notes for 2016-17. It’s hard to believe we're at the end of the school year! This year has passed quickly, but it has been filled with a variety of achievements, fun, and memorable events. The children learned a lot and made wonderful progress during the course of the year. I am proud of all their hard work. It has truly been my pleasure to work with them in class!
I want to say a special “thank you” to all parents. You’ve shown your support in so many ways. I have enjoyed working with all of you, too!
Summer has become a very busy time for most of us. In spite of all the activities, it is important that your child keep up a routine of reading during the break. The continued practice will help maintain the reading level he/she ended the year on and help your child get a strong start when school starts again in August. Massanutten Regional Library offers a wonderful summer reading program for children. So visit the library, the bookstore, or the Green Valley Book Fair and keep some books on hand for your child to read. It will really pay off next year.
Thank you for sharing your child with me this year. I am retiring from teaching in a few days. This was a wonderful class to have for my last year! My interest in my students continues beyond this year. It's rewarding to see them and hear of their accomplishments as they get older. Best wishes to them for much success in the future!
Have a fun summer!
