Hello! I'm sorry for the late newsletter. Sunday and the beginning of this week have proved to be busy!! I appreciate your patience. PLEASE read as there is a lot of important items coming up!
GREETINGS FOLKS!!
I hope everyone had a GREAT weekend! I 'heard' we're supposed to get cooler weather, what do YOU THINK (fingers crossed, Looking forward to an AWESOME week!
What's Happening This Week!
2nd Grade is off with an exciting week of learning!! For Science/Social Studies the class will be learning about The Water Cycle, Weather & Temperature. For math, the class will model Addition and Subtraction to 20. For spelling,Unit 3: Will, each, about, how, up. For phonics: we will focus on long vowels spelled with two vowels (ee, ea). For writing, we will work with
Revising and Editing. In reading, the focus will be on; Author's Purpose, Story Structure, Important Events, Problem/Solution.

On Friday at 5 PM, you should get a message from Class Messenger to sign up for October Conferences.
Progress Reports Go Home
If your child is below standard in reading, or math, your child will receive a progress report.
