RCPS Calendar Changes
Rockingham County Public Schools has missed eleven school days as a result of inclement weather. According to the approved RCPS calendar, the Superintendent, in consultation with the School Board, will determine make-up days. At this time, we are planning to maintain spring break, April 5 - 9, but we are making some revisions to our current calendar to make up for two of our missed days. The changes are as follows:
Thursday, March 18 - full school day (originally planned as early release)
Friday, March 19 - full school day (originally planned as division inservice)
Wednesday, March 17 - parent-conferences from 12:00 - 7:00
Wednesday, March 24 - division inservice day
Thursday, June 10 - full day (originally planned as early release)
If we miss additional school days because of inclement weather, we will make-up these days by attending school on designated Wednesdays to be determined.
