- Elvis always wanted music to be his future. When Elvis signed his first record deal and had his first show his manager said “You ain’t going nowhere, son. You ought to go back to driving a truck.”
- Elvis later on and made many top hits and made the top music lists many weeks in a row.
- Some of Elvis' greatest or most popular songs were Jailhouse Rock, Hound dog, and Heartbreak Hotel.
- Later on after Elvis was well famous and making a lot of money and a lot of hits he joins the Army.
- When Elvis started to tour he never preformed outside of North America. When he preformed he always gave people a show, "I learned how important it is to entertain people and give them a reason to come and watch you play."
- He always was dancing to the music on stage, "Rock and roll music, if you like it, if you feel it, you can't help but move to it. That's what happens to me. I can't help it."
-Elvis then bought a house in Memphis, Tennessee called Graceland. He bought Graceland for his parents as well so they can rest in the house.
- On August 16, 1977 Elvis passed away in his house.
- When Elvis died it made the news all around the world, “Elvis has become a household name even years after his death.” When Elvis died he was only 42.
