Digital Citizenship
Now that many of our students are in an online community, whether it is Google or Seesaw, we need to take time to discuss digital citizenship with them. This is not a single lesson, but rather a discussion that should take place over the course of the year. There will be several teachable moments as students are using our digital resources, so please take advantage of those. To start the conversation, I have a Breakout activity for grades 3-5 and a Kahoot activity for K-2. If you are interested, let me know. BrainPop also has several movies on digital citizenship. Click here to view some great resources from VBCPS. Be sure to click on the left side (Be social. Be smart. Be safe.) for some in-depth information and resources on each topic.
Clever
We have a new portal for accessing digital resources! The Clever Portal has been created to make it easier for teachers and students to log in to our programs. If you are logged in to the network, most programs will log you in automatically with one click. If you are not logged in to the network, you will be prompted to enter your login credentials before you can go on to the application you wish to use.
