Student Community Service
FACTS SIS (RenWeb) is currently being updated with the community service hours from MobileServe. Spring Break is a perfect opportunity to complete the required community service hours. Per the Student Handbook, everyone is required to complete 20 hours of community service with a minimum of 5 hours completed at their place of worship.
The deadline to complete the community service hours for the seniors is April 29, 2020.
For all other grades, the deadline to complete the community service is May 6, 2020.

Read Across America
There will be a Literary Parade on Friday, March 6. Students will be able to come to school dressed as a book character, or author. No masks are allowed, and the costume should be school appropriate. We will meet on the track in front of the bleachers by the field house about 2:30 p.m. Come celebrate "Read Across America" with us. We invite you to read with us.

Busy Parents Lenten Retreat
Please join us for our Busy Parents Lenten Retreat hosted by Bishop Louis Reicher Campus Ministry!
The retreat is Thursday, March 19, from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm in the Bishop Louis Reicher Performing Arts Center (PAC).
Expect to hear a great talk, to spend time in prayer, and to spend time with one another over good wine, beer, and snacks!
Cost is $15 at the door. (This goes towards food and volunteer support.)
Child care will be available! Location and child care starting/ending times TBA.
All busy parents are welcome.

Jazzcats Tryouts
Jazzcats tryouts are scheduled for Friday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m. March 23-26 from 5:00-6:30 will be the tryout camp. Camp & tryouts will all be in the Reicher gym. Please email the Coach, Mrs. Bridget Fuselier at bfuselier@reicher.org for more information and a tryout packet. We will have an information meeting the week after spring break, on Thursday, March 19 in the dance classroom at 5:30. Anyone who will be in 9th-12th grade next school year is eligible to tryout.
Dance Class
Also, on Thursday, February 27 (tomorrow!). March 5, and March 19 we are offering after school dance classes for anyone who is interested (not just people interested in Jazzcats). The classes will be in the dance classroom from 4-5:30 p.m. and will be led by Elise Fuselier, Jazzcats Captain. Mrs. Fuselier will supervise the classes. There is a minimal cost of $5 per class and all proceeds will go towards the dance program.
International Spring Break Trip
The international trip planned for Spring Break to Italy and Greece has been rescheduled for this summer (2020). More details will follow later. All parties involved have been informed.
Matt Fradd Presentation
For Who: Freshmen and Sophomores
When: Thursday, March 26, at 10:00 am
Where: St. Dominic Savio Catholic School in Austin
Food: Please bring a sack lunch and some money if you want a snack when we stop
What to wear: Your regular school uniform
Transportation Details:
Please report to the cafeteria no later than 7:40 am. The bus will leave at 8:00 am sharp from the school parking lot.
We will arrive to St. Dominic at 9:30 am
After the presentation, we will start driving back to Waco around 11:30 am
We should arrive back to Reicher by 1:15 pm
After we arrive back to Waco:
Students will report to their 3rd and 4th period classes so please bring those books/materials with you to school.
Last Important Note: Please make sure you do NOT order food from the school that day as we will not be here during that time.
Permission Forms: They will be given after spring break and will be due to Alycia by March 20.
