Monday Mission: Week of March 13
Each week, we challenge students, staff, and parents to a "Monday Mission." These missions are aimed at increasing relational capacity, modeling good social skills, and keeping all members of the Dix Street family connected. Give them a try and encourage your child(ren) to take part in our "Monday Missions!"
Student, Staff, & Parent Mission: As you go through your week and you are faced with a task where a normal level of effort would be “good enough,” put in the extra effort to make it “the best it can be.” In this way you can “Level Up” your effort, and the products of your effort as well!
Strength In Numbers-Tips from Mr. Michael

IMPORTANT! Meal Charges Return for This School Year
For the last two years, schools were able to provide free breakfast and lunch due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, free meals are ended at the end of last school year.
Starting with the 2022-23 school year, regular meal prices will be charged to student lunch accounts and the costs need to be covered by families. However, you may still qualify for free or reduced meals!
We are asking ALL families to take a few moments and fill out the federal assistance form. This can be filled out online or on paper. Here is the link to fill out online. A paper copy has also been provided to your child in their welcome letter.
If you have any questions, please contact Julie Guthrie, Otsego Food Service Coordinator, at jguthrie@otsegops.org or 269-694-7447.
Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up
A few Key reminders for pick up and drop off.
1. Please do not park in a parking spot.
2. Stay in your car and allow your child to enter your vehicle curb side.
3. If you are a part of the 3:40 Pick-up line do not enter until you are waved in by a staff member.
4. Only walking parents should be picking their child up in the southwest corner. NO parking and leaving your vehicle to pick a student should happen along Dix Street.
5. When waiting for pick up to begin please be courteous to our neighbors and DO NOT block driveways or Fire Hydrants!
For more detailed information regarding drop-off and pick-up, visit THIS LINK.
Again, we really appreciate your patience.
EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION
It is extremely important to have up-to-date contact information available for each student. When emergencies arise, we need to be able to contact parents/guardians. This is also the contact information that is used for school closures and district updates.
Please log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to check that your contact information is current and to make any necessary changes. If you need assistance or login information for the Parent Portal, please contact the Dix Street OfficeThank You!
