Mrs. Kennedy's Friday Letter
February 10, 2017
A Peek into our week
Your children have had so much fun making their Did You Know bubbles. They have seen their hard work and determination pay off and are so proud of the product they are making - and so am I!
We read about a bug lab in Book Club this week and I may have had to show that my mad rubber band shooting skills were better that One Shot Lil's! The children were very impressed! LOL
Math - We are busy counting money (mainly change). We can also see how our Number Sense skills of skip counting help us with counting money. I would like to encourage all of you to get a bag of loose change together at home and practice counting change and finding more that one way to represent a certain about of change.
Bible - We enjoyed learning about how Joseph showed Perseverance and what it looks like for us today.
Science - I promise we will get to our Space unit next week!!!!
Pizza was enjoyed by everyone who reached their Math Facts Goal for the 2nd Quarter.
Several of us are going to have to really step up our practice at home if we are going to reach the needed 4 levels for the 3rd Quarter. Please see the Math Facts report that is coming home with your child today. A big thank you to Mrs. Priestly, and Mrs. Pachciarz for the yummy cookies, carrots, and dip!
