A few pictures from Lewis PD on Friday!

Thank you to Angela, Courney, Renee, and Christy for leading PD! Thanks to you teachers for being willing participants and excited about doing what's best for our students!

Elementary College and Career Night

Let's help elementary students begin to think about their goals and dreams for their future. We have lots of colleges, military representation, and technical and trades expected for this event and the kids had a lot of fun 2 years ago. Please help us promote this event with strong participation.

Some ways you can help:

  • Decorate your classroom door with your favorite university colors, emblem, and/or mascot.
  • Please send home the flyers for elementary college and career night with your students ON TUESDAY!
  • Talk it up in your newsletter each week.

This event is set for March 10 5:00-6:30 and we could really use your help! Please sign up using this link: https://docs.google.com/a/ga.essd40.com/spreadsheets/d/1-41MFMGbqTVETzNKIVcI6MCvo7wxhaKG9-gMEhHSreM/edit?usp=docslist_api

There is a Lewis tab for sign up and a Westview tab. Hopefully, we will have equal helpers from each school at each station. We definitely want our kids to see familiar faces when they attend!

All volunteers helping that night will earn a Week-long Jeans Coupon!

Lewis Carnival

Amy Brinker is chairperson for our spring carnival this year. The leadership team will be the planning committee. The date for the carnival is April 8, 5:00-7:00 and we will need help running the stations. Amy will have a sign up sheet ready sometime in early March. All volunteers who help on this night earn a Week-long Jeans Coupon!

Social Events for Staff

The first is a ladies' event--dinner and fundraiser auction for a splash park in ES. Candy and Christi are members of the ES Park Foundation. Your ticket is tax deductible, as we are a 501c3 organization! See either of us for more info or check out this Facebook page.
This one is for ANYONE who LOVES the 80's! A group of us are going to see the show at the community theatre on Friday night. The more, the merrier...LIKE, TOTALLY!
