Dear Team,

I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends. Welcome to 2014 and a new year filled with new challenges, opportunities, incentives, and goals to meet! I am planning to reach out to each and every one of you this month so that we can figure out what those goals are, and then create an action plan to get there. Who is planning on going to Hoopla in July??? It's in Orlando this year, and I'm thinking about taking a few extra days and bringing my boys so that we can do some college visits. They are juniors this year, so this is a big year for that kind of stuff!!! So Hoopla is in six months - I would love to hear from each and every one of you what your goals are for this business and where you plan to be for Hoopla! I think Hoopla is a game-changer for your business and I highly encourage you all to go to this amazing few days!

January 3-10 are Dot Dollars days. For your customers who purchased from you in December, they will have Dot Dollars coupon codes that they can redeem throughout this next week. For every $50 they spend, they will get $25 Dot Dollars to redeem. This is a great opportunity to reach out to your customers to help them redeem their Dot Dollars, as well as planting seeds for booking trunk shows. I have heard from home office that you REALLY want to try to book 4 trunk shows for January and the launch of our new Spring Collection. Something AMAZING is coming - so reach out and offer the trunk show opportunity - hostesses will earn an additional $50 in Style Rewards through Jan. 31st!

We also have a New Stylist opportunity for the month of January. Why not reach out and spread the S&D love and start building your team? Ask everyone! New stylists will get an additional $100 in free product credits this month - so why not? You will never know, unless you ask!

Also, beginning January 16th, Stella & Dot will start the new Birthday rewards program. If you have been using Dottie, then you know that at the end of each sale you are asked to enter the birthdate of your customer. This is also a great excuse to reach out to your customer base with an email to request that they send you their birthdates so you can add them to their customer profile. Look in the Stylist Lounge for more info on this program.

I wanted to remind you all, that it pays to "qualify" every month. To be a "qualified stylist" you only need to sell $500 retail (325 pcv) each month. If you qualify each month of the quarter, then you earn free product credits. So why don't you write down your goals each month, and then define a plan to reach them.

We will be having a local team meeting this Sunday, January 5th at 10:30 a.m. at Cuvee in Basalt. I would love for as many of you local stylists to be there, if you can. For those of you who are not in our area, I will be sending you the meeting agenda, along with questions and goal sheets that I'd love for you to contemplate for the new year.

I'm thrilled to have you all on my team, and to start this new year with a bang. My three year "Stellaversary" is tomorrow - January 4th!!! I jumped in not knowing what Stella & Dot was going to mean to me, and I can honestly say that it was the best decision I have ever made! I'm excited about the future, and I am here to help you all in any way that I can, to reach your goals too!

Dot Dollar Days - January 3 - 10!

You can print off your customer's Dot Dollar codes in the lounge. Just click on Dot Dollars, and then click on the link on that page. I created an online trunk show called "Dot Dollars" and I invited all of my customers from December. I then sent them all an email letting them know about their Dot Dollars and told them they would be receiving an email from home office with their redemption codes. If they haven't received it yet, I asked them to contact me and I would give them to them. I have four orders already today. I also told them that for every redemption code that they used, they would be entered into the drawing for the hostess rewards from my online trunk show!
