Vikan Knights, ARMOR Up!
From Principal Velez
Hey Team,
This is the final stretch...8 weeks left before summer break. We are gearing up for what we believe will be a busy spring. When the weather gets better, our Knights get uber excited, which can result in negative interactions. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you have any concerns.
Also, we are counting on you to help us keep our school safe. Please make sure you report any suspicious activities to our main office. We are always vigilant, but as you pick up and drop off your Knights, always be on the alert. Our SRO, Officer Covarruvias, is housed at Vikan and is a great asset to our school. He monitors our school on regular basis. Always reach out and let us know of any concerns.
Finally, if you have not done so just yet, HERE is the survey we would like you to complete. We are VERY close to our goal. Please take a minute to complete it and help us improve our practice. In addition, your support will help our teachers win a catered lunch in April. Trust me when I tell you that they deserve this and much more.
Thank you in advance for completing THIS survey and for your support.

Tutoring Opportunity for Students
Tutoring opportunity for Vikan students. Is your student missing assignments, struggling in class, and or needing some extra help? Every other Friday morning from 7:30-8:20 in the library we will have some student tutors and high school tutors, available to help support your student with academics. Space is limited. Students who choose to participate need to be motivated and willing to work - this is not social time. Please click here to sign your student up for academic support.

Our district office sends out monthly reminders of outstanding payments. Please keep in mind that student fees will travel with the student once they have moved on to high school in our district.
