Spirit Week Fun

Thank you to our Spirit Week Committee for planning and implementing such a great Spirit Week. Thank you to our Student Leadership Team for giving feedback and suggestions, so we could appeal to more kids. Thank you to all of you for participating and showing such love for our school and taking pictures daily for our contests!

I really appreciate those teachers that went above and beyond; Ms. McNeill, Ms. McCarthy, Ms. Velte, Mrs. Chambers, Mrs. Knuth, and Mrs. Quiggle, by Sumo wrestling at the Pep Rally because their children did so well in the fundraiser. This is AMAZING behavior. We did have 2 injuries, but were checked out and both will be sore for a few weeks, but fine.

Whatever it takes!

Just in case you missed these spirited Stallions this week :)

Report Card Pickup Night

All reports were positive for report card pick up night. Thank you to 6th and 7th grade teachers for putting in the long hours to accomodate our parents. If a parent has not picked up the report card, please call this week. You may send the report card home if you have two-way communication on the phone (not an email or phone message). Please document the conversationon on the one that you keep.

Mrs. deLambert and Mrs. Warren held Parent Portal sessions at 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00 in the media center. They said parents appreciated the one-on-one assistance, and it seemed to be extremely helpful to those that attended. We will do again at the next PTSO meeting. Don't forget that grades must be put in your gradebook weekly!

School Spirit - 8th grader, Sophia Priest, created this song and YouTube video for us because she loves our school so much!

The SanLee Middle School Song! Purpleyellowcats

Welcome!

We are so excited to have Officer Scott Mauldin join our Stallion Family! Officer Mauldin has two sons on our campus, so he already knows what we are about and how hard we all work every day. He has jumped in this week with both feet and not missed a beat. As always, please see an administrator if you have a problem on our school campus and we will involve an officer if it is needed.

Officer Cole will always be a part of our family, but has been promoted to a different unit in the Sherriff's Department. We will miss seeing him daily, but is ONLY a phone call away. In fact, he dropped by Thursday to check in to make sure everything with "his teachers and our school" were OK! :)

Stanlee Stallion???

Love the spelling :))

Thanks to Rudy!

Stallion PTSO Rocks!

Thank you to our PTSO board, Beth Yow, Kenneth Harry, Tina Harrington, Julia Dossenbach, and Anita Owens, for all their hard work this week! They monitored the Fun Day, got our fundraiser items to families, purchased donuts for our 9 classes (18 dz) with ZERO tardies for a week, purchased our Mr. Stallion (kids have named him Stanley), gave out homework passes, and met and greeted the Stallion families at the Chick-fil-a Night. AMAZING!

Remember: Our next PTSO meeting will be November 19 from 5 to 6 p.m. We will highlight our newly named basketball teams, cheerleaders, and pep band at this event. We will also have another session about Parent Portal for anyone interested.
