Message from the Principal
Dear Murphy Families,
I hope this letter finds you all safe and healthy. I would like to start by saying, we appreciate all the hard work and effort you as parents have made to keep the children moving forward in this unprecedented time. Please remember that even as educators this is all uncharted territory for us, too. Circumstances are changing on a daily basis and we are doing our best to support you and your children.
A district letter was recently sent out to all parents informing you of the new district plan to help support learning at home. That letter is also available on our district website, www.lapeerschools.org , with resources to help guide you through the district's plan.
We are prepared to offer all K-5 students a three pronged approach to a virtual learning plan with our initial goal being to get students and families comfortable accessing the virtual learning options. More details are included below.
Of course there are still unanswered questions and challenges yet to overcome. We can do this if we work together. Please stay tuned for more details that will be shared in the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience.
Yours in Education,
Robert Downey
Principal
