The Lost Hero
By:Rick Riordan Caleb's Project
Summary
Jason has a big problem. He doesn't remember anything before waking up on a school bus holding hands with a girl. Apparently she’s his girlfriend Piper. Apparently, his best friend is a kid named Leo, and they are all students in the Wilderness School, a school for “bad kids. What he did to end up here? Jason has no idea except that everything seems very wrong. Piper has a big secret. Her father has been missing for 3 days, and her strange nightmares reveal that he’s in terrible danger. Now her boyfriend doesn't recognize her, and when a storm and strange creatures attack during a school field trip, she, Leo, and Jason are whisked away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood. Leo has a good way to work with tools. His new cabin at Camp Half-Blood is filled with them. The place totally beats Wilderness School, with its weapons training, monsters, and fine teachings. What is bad is the curse everyone keeps talking about, and that a camper has went missing. Weirdest of all, his cabin mates insist they are all related to 1 god!
Weather (Not part of book)
As the wind blew fast, Jason, Piper held on to the railing of the grand canyon's railing. The wind pushed them away crashing them into the guest services building. The three teenagers got blown off the building heading 100 miles and hour east. They were unable to get off of the wind's current. It took a while for them to stop. They just sat on the wind's currents and it took them off somewhere . They stopped in front of a sign. The sign said Camp Half-Blood.
The Characters( continue story of the weather)
Jason, Piper, and Leo were on there way a place they don't know about. Jason was on the wind current sleeping. Piper was thinking about something she would't talk about to anyone. Leo was playing with his tools he had in his pocket. They weren't talking and had no way of working together. Jason fell off of the current without knowing. Piper and Leo were concerned. They both rescued Jason but had a hard time trying to get back on the wind current. They didn't know what to do.

This book has a great plot but tells too much detail. Sometimes too much detail throws off the story.
