Special Tribute to our Military Families for Veteran's Day
In honor of Veteran's day we are pleased to announce the Pasadena Scottish Pipes and Drums will be at our school for an assembly immediately following Friday Flag on November 8th 2019. All Red Hawk Families are invited to attend.
This is a special tribute to our Military Families that attend Red Hawk. If you are a Veteran or active military parent or loved one, we would love for you to participate by wearing your uniform. Please send the following information to our PTA by Friday, November 1st.

Our therapists will be offering presentations that will allow parents to gain practical skills for navigating difficult behaviors paired with an open discussion with other parents who are facing similar challenges

Nov 6 Tantrums vs Meltdowns: Helping Your Child Manage Distress
Nov 13 Setting Healthy Limits and Boundaries
Nov 20 Managing Difficult Behavior with Appropriate Consequences
Dec 4 Anger Management for Parents
Dec 11 Recognizing Signs of Substance Abuse
Dec 18 Utilizing the Internet and Social Media Safely
Jan 8 Parent support and Interventions
Jan 15 Co-Parenting
All workshops will be held from 5:30-7:00 pm at Oak Grove Center, in the Library. RSVP is required, as space is limited for complimentary child care for school age children only with prior registration. Light refreshments will be provided.

Looking for Watch D.O.G.S.
What is Watch D.O.G.S.? It stands for "Dad Of Great Students" and is a nationally recognized program with 2 goals: provide positive male role models for students, and provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security.
What do you do in Watch D.O.G.S.? It is easy! A detailed schedule for your day will be provided and will include: helping in your child's classroom, eating lunch together and playing games at recess and lunch.
