Earthquake PBL Project
This assignment was to build Tony Stark a house that would withstand a major earthquake. This task was assigned for a few weeks. Everyday taking an interview of what we worked on during the period.
Driving Question
During our process of building Tony Stark a withstand able house Mrs Smith assigned us a "Driving Question" our driving question was "How can we, As structural engineers, construct a two story house that can withstand seismic activity here in California."
Designing The House
Designing Tony Starks house was the most enjoyable piece of the project. We worked with our table group for days and weeks building a house out of simple items for our Tony Stark to live in.
30 Hands Project
About the 30 hands Project
The 30 hands project was an assignment for 2 weeks. We created a script to answe the questions asked. Consistently working on the project for weeks we created a video of us speaking our scripts into a 30 hands video with a long hard process.
30 Hands Assignment
Assignment
The project 30 hands was a project we did that taught us about global warming, climate change, etc. During this project, we used the information that we learned in class along with information from the internet. We used this information to make a nine slide project. We explained what each slide meant by recording our voices.
What I learned
During the 30 hands project I learned alot of things. Especially since we had to go through researching and journaling. We took notes of all the stuff we learned.
Enjoyable Moments
While doing the 30 hands project I really enjoyed learning a lot of information about how humans are damaging the earth. I enjoyed learning about this because it gave me a perspective on how much humans are damaging our earth. It also taught me how I could reduce damaging the earth. I could do this by walking over riding in a car.
