SEL Activity: New Year Resolutions
Activity 3-5
- Explain that a resolution is something people want to start or stop doing in the new year.
- Give examples of what that might look like in the school environment.
- Have students write their resolution on a sticky note and be prepared to tell the class.
- Place the resolutions on a poster near the door. Each morning, have students review their resolution. Over time have them just touch it to keep it fresh in their minds.
- Revisit periodically.
Activity PK-1
- Same as above, but you may want to create a class-wide resolution.
