Monday Memo
December 10, 2018
Great things!
Thank you for supporting United Way with your donations to purchase jean coupons! We may have set a High Grove record this year for donations!
Arts Partners brought us a new puppet show this past week. The kids appeared to enjoy the music and the puppets!
We had a lot of kids with picture retakes last week. Thanks to Tressie for running kids back and forth throughout the day to make sure everyone had their picture taken!
Elfie has returned and is encouraging kind acts around the building. Be sure to take a moment to help your class find the elf.
Challenge: Are you willing to use an assertive voice and tone when you give directions to our students this week? Try to focus on using a clear, calm tone--much like you do when you state a fact: "pick up the blocks and put them in the blue bucket like this." rather than saying "pick up the blocks and put them in the blue bucket okay?" or "can you please pick up the blocks and put them in the blue bucket?" Try it!
