Chinese Inventions Moldboard Plow

About the plow
The plow was crafted mainly by cast iron, an iron piece at the front is shaped like a “V” and ends with a sharp point to cut the soil, which then slopes upward to push the soil off of the plow to reduce friction. The plow has wooden handles and is pushed by a farmer. Wooden boards are attached to the front of the plow to make the ground flat and not grooved. This helps to plant all of the seeds at once, and not one by one like other traditional methods that had been used before for many years. It was a very important invention for farmers that worked without animals assisting them.
