Facilities Transition FAQ Document Developed
A Frequently Asked Questions document has been developed to help answer questions about the task of moving classrooms for the 2023-24 school year at most levels. This document will continue to be updated throughout the school year. We ask that if you have questions regarding the transition to new facilities, you please reach out to a member of our Elementary and/or Secondary Cross the Line teams. They will bring these questions to our monthly meetings to be updated on the Frequently Asked Questions document.
The elementary members of the Cross the Line teams are: Deb Rosera, Jadee Gavin, Bri Hankemeier, Sarah Tennie, Erin Ermis, Sarah Broda, Robyn Hall, Gina Connor, Kaelyn Altmann, Kassandra Beno, Michelle Robb, Kayla Plante, Alisia Myers and Emily Zompolas.
Secondary Cross the Line team members are: Grace Davis, Margaret Konz, Jodi Stanchik, Theresa Rasmussen, Jennifer Kuenster, David Dunning, Amy Schneider, Kristin Mahoney, Rob Funk, Amy Bowman and Scott Schneider.
Stipend Deposit Deadline is Friday
Current Neenah Joint School District employees who were employed during the 2021-22 school year will receive a stipend for the District achieving "Exceeds Expectations" on the state report card. The stipend will be 2 percent of the employees' 2021-22 base salary. Those employees hired during the 2021-22 school year will have the stipend prorated to the number of days they were employed.
Employees will have the option to have the stipend added to their December 10, 2022 paycheck or deposit the stipend into their Health Savings Account (HSA) or retirement account (403b or 457). If the deposit into an HSA or retirement account puts an employee over the maximum amount annually permitted, the employee will receive the remaining amount on their December 10 paycheck. Employees may not divide the stipend between various accounts.
PLEASE FILL OUT THIS FORM ONLY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DEPOSIT THE STIPEND IN AN HSA OR RETIREMENT ACCOUNT. If you would like to have the stipend simply added to your December 10 paycheck, there is nothing you need to do. The form needs to be completed by Friday, November 18 at 4 p.m. if you choose to have the stipend deposited in an HSA or retirement account.
Should the District achieve "Exceeds Expectations" on the state report card for the 2022-23 school year, we anticipate a similar approach with stipends, but this has not been finalized.

Health and Wellness Center Addresses RSV Surge in Children
From Prevea Nurse Practitioner Sarah Bleier, APNP, FNP-C
In the past month, we’ve seen a rise in the total number of cold and flu type illnesses. In particular, RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) has sickened an alarming number of children. As with most viruses, people of any age can be infected, but the severity of illness will vary by age and underlying health status. RSV tends to cause more dramatic symptoms in infants and young children, and is one of the most common causes of outpatient medical visits in this demographic. Click here to read more
