What was the change ?
A major change in the European thought, starting in the mid-1500's, in which the study of the natural world began to be characterized by careful observation and the questioning of accepted beliefs.
Who were the people associated with the change ?
Galileo Galilei
He used a telescope to prove earth was not center of the universe. He proved that the planets obit the sun. Galileo got house arrest by the pope so he wouldn't tell people about what he discover.
Isaac Newton
He made major contributions in mathematics and theoretical and experimental physics and achieved a remarkable synthesis of the work of his predecessors on the laws of motion, especially the law of universal gravitation.
Nicolaus Copernicus
He was a-Prestit and an astronomer. He theorized that the sun was the center of the universe not earth.
How did the change impact society at the time ?
Everybody started questioning science and the universe..
How is that change evidenced in today's modern society ?
Galileo had a scientific method which was the hypothesis to organize data. Nicolaus we would have been able to determine the equinox or even other things orbit the earth and sun alike
